Srinagar, Aug 06 (KNO): In a shocking incident, a man has stabbed his brother with a knife in Srinagar's Gojwora area over a dispute between them with regard to the property issue on Sunday late evening, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a man has stabbed his own brother in Srinagar's Gojwora over a property dispute. In the incident, the injured person identified as Bilal Ahmad Geelani has been shifted to hospital while a case has been registered in this regard. Police said that the accused identified as Hilal Ahmad Geelani has been arrested. Srinagar police on its official Twitter handle wrote, "Hilal Ah geelani S/o Noor Md geelani R/o Lal Bazar, Sgr arrested for stabbing his brother Bilal Ah Geelani with sharp edged object.The brothers have familial property dispute. Victim is grievously injured & shifted to hospital. FIR no 29/2023 u/s 307,326,341 of IPC in Nowhatta PS."—(KNO)
